Grant Application Instructions:

  • A complete application packet must be submitted electronically to by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021 to be considered.
  • Application packets must include the following.
    1. A completed SEF SEED Grant application form. All application information must be typed in the fillable-pdf form.
    2. A completed SEF SEED Recommendation form.
    3. Documentation of professional development activity.
  • A SCPS Grant Approval Form with a copy of entire grant application packet must be sent to by November 22, 2021.

Professional development considerations:

  • Course/professional development request must take place in the current school year (July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022).
  • Course/professional development directly relates to job.
  • Course/professional development aligns with School Division initiatives.

SEED Grant Process:

The SEED Committee will review applications and present their grant recipient recommendations to the SEF board for final approval before announcing grant recipients.

The SEED grant program’s fundraising and review process are managed by the SEED Grant Committee. The SEED Grant Committee meets as needed to coordinate this program.
